Chained in Memories

This is my old guy...he turns 19 next year.

Over the course of his lifetime, he has been a racehorse, had a broken leg, and was starved 600 pounds overweight, being abused and neglected at the same time. In this picture, he was munching on grain, but the chain next to him (used to crosstie in the stall) and the edge of his stall framed his eye just the right way that it gave me chills
